Computer Strength EyeChart
For Selecting the Proper Strength of computer reading glasses
Print this entire displayed page with your Printer. You cannot use this chart by looking at it directly from your computer monitor due to the size and resolution differences among computers.
The printed chart below should be approximately 5 inches wide.
To find the strength of computer glasses you need, place the following printed Computer Chart on your monitor and read it from a distance of about 28 incheswithout glasses. The smallest line you have difficulty reading has a lens strength to the right of it. When ordering computer glasses, select this strength.
If you wear distance glasses you can use them when reading the chart to determine the strength of clip-on or stick-on computer lenses to apply to your glasses when using the computer. Do not use reading glasses to do this test.
Attention: Ready-to-wear non-prescription glasses are not intended to replace prescribed corrective lenses or examinations by an eyecare professional. Regular eye check-ups by a qualified professional are necessary to determine your eye health status and vision needs. This site is only meant to help you decide if computer glasses are right for you.
